1919 was an exciting time for my wife and I. We purchased a lot and built a studio. It was originally called the
Pickford-Fairbanks Studio, but was renamed in 1928 to the United Artists
Studio. The studio has 7 sound stages, it
has been retrofitted since we owned it and central air was added. Famous films that were filmed at the studio include:
"Robin Hood", "The Thief of Baghdad", "Sparrows",
"Taming of the Shrew", "Some Like It Hot" and “West Side
Story".
