Around the World in 80 Minutes was release on the 12th
of December, 1931. The estimated budget
was $80,000. Three photographers, Chuck
Lewis and I travel around the world to report on various cultural curiosities
and humor that we found in everyday life overseas. We documented Japan, China, Hong Kong and the
Philippines to name a few. I was able to
play golf in Indochina, and traveled the jungle with 50 elephants. We were able to document how headdresses were
assembled in Japan, and met a famous female impersonator in China.
