March 24, 1934 was an exciting day for me.  I starred in Thief of Bagdad, and that was the day that it was released.  The movie was also known as An Arabian Nights Fantasy.  It was released under my production company, Douglas Fairbanks Pictures, and had a production budget of $2,000,000.  I know it may seem hard to believe, but this film only took 35 days to film.
